Production logo creation

To make our production logo my partner and i used two websites which were http://www.logosnap.com/ and http://www.picnik.com/ these were very helpful as they both haveguides on how to edit and create logos the result of using these two websites was quite satisfying and i will be uploading this later.

Character analysis

While filming my partner and i decided to do an anaylasis of the characters costume talking about how we pieced it together the ensemble and the reasons behind why we had done this.
We had also recorded this i will be uploading this video later

Editing problem

After filming i was informed that the format my partner and i had chosen too film on was not compatible with a macbook pro which was what we was planning on editing on (Imovie) however we found a solution as the clips would upload to youtube and we could then download them but an issue we may run into is that the quality may be affected and we may have to re-record everything we had done

Filming

Today my partener and i filmed for our opening sequence where we have slightly changed the origanl story which we had pieced together. We had set up in my house with an astray full of smoked cigarettes which we had bought on the day along with some money both American dollarsand British pound sterling the character was to remain slightly mysterious so i wore white gloves which was the only thing seen. We also bought a few newspaper and cut out letters to create a ransom not which read "Decapitated?" "Gunned down?" and "Alive" which would create a sense of mystery as these seem like options. We also cut out a full headline which read "Police to pay out after car attack" which gives the viewer the idea that the charcter either is part of thew police force or has some sort issue with the police

Attempting to start filming

My partner and i decided we would film during January as neither of us have January exams and i was on holiday during the christmas break so i was not avaliable to film during time. A problem we have encountered with trying to film in january is that all the higher quality cameras have been taken out by the A2 class which i am also a part of which is an advantage because the cameras take memory card so i can easily swap the memory card and film using that camera. But due to the issue of changing the location the camera is kept we decided i will finish recording my A2 media first then while that is being edited we will then film the As opening sequence as january comes to a close.

Low budget films

Today i watched a low budget film that came along with an album i bought by a rapper names "Fabolous" the title of the film is the same as the album which is entitled "Losos way" the running timeof the film was about 45 minutes and although it was low budget the camera angles and editing made it seem like an actual film throughout the opening sequence but as the film goes on the stroyline makes it seem more like an low budget film. The camera shots used were shots such as over the shoulder shots, Point of view and cut in. These went very well along with the fast cutting along with the voice over which made the film seem very interesting until i began to watchg more.

Watching this film has given me the idea that the film can still look professional even though the equippmnt may not be.
